2015 HbA1c of 134, 10 years NHS remission. Low Carb Keto & Carnivore diets put Type 2 into remission. Verifiable anecdotes are superior to E studies & RCTS

In October 2021 I lifted 500 lbs (230 kg) as someone who generally works out for Type 2 blood glucose control. This symbolised the 500 UK citizens who die each week from Type 2 related complications. Teach low carb, keto & carnivore to give them a fair chance. #keto #carnivore

Devils advocate on this Zach, you are talking endurance athletes, but I think other high performing athletes might be comparable. I am thinking Sir Steve Redgrave, Sami Inkinen and a recent tri-athlete. At the very least we know spiking causes micro damage. I know it is not uncommon for these types to have glucose north of 180.

"High carb endurance will give you diabetes!" This is an argument I see against high carb endurance, but I don't think it is accurate. The more likely scenario is the athlete didn't off ramp their career properly. For pro endurance athlestes, this likely means they removed, or greatly reduced, a big energy out lever without also reducing the intake lever. It isn't the high carb diet that gave them diabetes, it is the high energy diet without the training. Jonah and I discussed this, amongst other topics, in the episode below.

Why. My Doctor told me during the pandemic (in writing) my diabetes would return, how cruel is that unprovoked. Dr Berg, like all low carb Doctors wipes the floor with my idiot of a mainstream Doctor. My wife was a personal trainer, got a Sports Science degree, followed by a Physio degree, was an international Judo player and has worked with elite footballers - she has reversed many people's diabetes (including mine). It would be interesting to know where you rate her, as your professional snobery is off the chart.

So you compare the carnivore diet to the rice diet. Are you purposefully dumbing yourself down. Have you had Jamaican curry goat, American brisket, seared Japanese Wagu beef, English bacon and eggs. World cheeses, varieties of dairy, countless sausages, bone broth, roasted you name it, spare pork ribs. Think again.

God that sounds like a diet boring as hell, but there are some people who can eat one thing and lose weight. Hence the cookie diet, the twinkie diet, the ice cream diet, the salami diet, the carnivore diet, the rice diet, the cabbage soup diet. Most such diets will help people lose weight - and there are some people who can eat just this and their palate tolerates it. That number is somewhere between 2 and 4 percent. It isn't virtue, it is palate fatigue at best. It is akin to children on the spectrum who will only eat certain foods with certain textures - they tend to be underweight.

@drterrysimpson On lost 100+ pounds and regained my health with a mostly meat & eggs keto style menu, even though "science" claims otherwise. Naysayers abound.

@drterrysimpson I'll make it easy for you. Show 1 single case of IBS remission using fibre predominantly. Thought not (in anticipation of tumble weeds). You're all show no go, like those who talk about Type 2 remission on vegan, but strangely can never show a 3 or 5 year example.

The practice of placing two lines on a chart and declaring a causal relationship belongs less to science than to the ancient art of reading tea leaves. Fiber intake in the United States remains well below recommended levels, while IBS prevalence is similar across many nations and diets. Carnivore influencers dislike epidemiology because once you understand it, the trick of placing two unrelated graphs together stops looking like science and starts looking like stage magic. In this case - we have two unrelated graphs next to each other . This is implying causation but it is more numerology. Fiber intake in the U.S. remains below recommended levels, and IBS diagnosis rose largely due to changing diagnostic criteria. Oh, and adding non-fermentable fiber improves IBS symptoms

@theproof As it therapeutic you're again talking nonsense. You're diet is bland and nutrients deficient. It's why you don't post any pictures, I remember your last. Christian advocates for 17 supplements, that's not a proper diet.

JAPAN - March 2026 It is very satisfying to not have to have persons just rely on my words, when pictures can speak for me. 20 seconds from my apartment, Note they even had a low carb menu 😊. More to come.

Been in Japan since last Tuesday. Let's talk food. I'll get the Tofu thing out of the way first. In Tokyo it is mostly in the Miso soup, in the proportions of the picture below, with my smart watch and a half tumbler for size guidance. It is not in the amounts pictured by activist vegans on this social media. Certainly not a primary main dish. We walked between 17 to 21 k within a mixture of areas, with literally 1000's of eating places. Of course I have documented many, and scrutinised menus, whilst watching what locals ate. The base staple is either rice or ramen, with ramen being the more dominant (just verified with a tour guide). Wagu steak is eveywhere, literally without exaggeration - I'll be uploading many pics from my journey.

That's because the rise of supermarkets sanitised our views. When I was a child 50 years ago, meat was hanging in butchers shop windows, providing the stark reality of the situation, even on the council estates. Kids were not upset, it was normal. Now we have Pepper Pig, Blue Cow and the desnification of animals.

Ask a child where meat comes from. Watch their face the first time they understand. That reaction is closer to the truth than most of what adults say.

And you rely on a meta-analysis to say that. Have you actually ever read any studies, all are rubbish. Did you see the IARC study on red meat of 2015, and their conclusions. Now square this with the 800 studies that they had access to, 93% showed no link to cancer - how would you interpret that result.

@Pritaline_0409 @Babygravy9 I wouldn’t say it is healthy. When we decide whether something is healthy, it is always useful to know what we are comparing it with. For example, compared to black beans, lentils, broccoli, etc., it isn’t healthy.

I will mock vegans and vegetarians relentlessly for believing “plant-based diets” are healthier for humans, but I will never mock them for insisting factory farming is an abomination that cries out to the heavens for redress.
Vegan FTA@teamveganfta

Sows are kept in gestation crates where they’re artificially inseminated, then moved into farrowing crates to nurse their babies. 🐖 For both stages they’re given barely more space than their own bodies. Unable to turn around, unable to comfort their piglets, unable to move freely. 😣 This is outrageous 💔 #pigs #pigfarming #animalrights

Without tools, weapons, cooking, humans wouldn’t be able to eat any animals. Without vegan seasoning, meat is basically tasteless. Even when I used to eat animals and grew up with farm animals, I never saw any animals I wanted to kill and eat, their rotting bodies appalling.
