We got spoiled rotten with the best governor in the country, maybe the best ever. With Ron DeSantis. I always knew it would be very difficult if not impossible to replace him. We were told for years now, rightfully so, that Florida is no longer a swing state. Its solid red!! (Thanks to him, btw) Many Floridians I speak to, feel that way. And they are correct. However, the Republican candidates currently running are just horrible. Byron is disliked. Or tolerated at best. Collins is running a dumpster fire of a campaign. I am not saying that Florida is a swing state again. But what if it is? What if we are setting ourselves up for an absolute disaster to wake up to on November 4? I don’t have the answer. Nor am I necessarily asking a question. But I am concerned. We absolutely CANNOT have another Democratic governor here. Ever! Especially not with the weak Republican legislators we have.

@RonDeSantis Valspar field always suffers due to its position in relation to other big tournaments like Bay hill and the Masters. On rare occasions it fits the schedule of top players prepping for the masters and attracts a better than average field.

Nobody skips The Players. Valspar is a great event but it comes right after Bay Hill and TPC so it’s been a natural time for some pros to take a week off. But even then, Tampa had a strong field this year, but didn’t have Scottie and Rory. This is such a non-issue.

I’m having a hard time grasping why anybody would buy a house in California right now The price we pay for rent is $7000 but our house is worth $2.5 million. If we were to buy that house, our mortgage payment would be like $20k plus we would have to put 20% down With the economy, the way it is why would anybody want to lock themselves into 30 years of $20,000 a month payments? When I could rent the same house for $7000 a month and if shit hits the fan, I can just come move somewhere cheaper
