You are financially better off not going to college. But… I still think everyone should try it out, purely just for lifemaxxing. 25% don’t really like it or drop out. 75% describe it as one of the best times of their life. Seems like decent odds.

@V_arrell Or we could all just laugh at her because her brother couldn’t have possibly had the episodes if it wasn’t for her family’s broken genetics that created his predisposition for this exact thing anyway

This is a big statement with a tiny perspective. You could easily say "family member X's cardiac arrest was from years of McDonalds" or "family member X's cirrhosis was caused by years of whiskey". She's shouting for the sake of shouting with no subject matter context.
Brett Cooper@imbrettcooper

My mom and I have been told that my brother's psychosis - now full blown diagnosed Schizophrenia - is most likely drug induced from his years of smoking weed. This drug isn't harmless, no matter what our culture and screaming people in comments sections tried to tell us.

0-100k/days - Day 40 Chat it's so over. All our winning ads have fatigued. We are horrendously unprofitable on the front end and scaled down so hard its not even funny. Now would be a great time to give up or move onto a new product, but in my eyes this is exactly what we need. We need our back up against the wall because thats when we lock in the hardest. Really gotta dial the hell in to try and get a new winning ad ASAP.

I've been reviewing creative strategist tests, and a common thread I've noticed is that research often just scratches the surface. To really shine, go beyond the usual Reddit dives and basic brand/comp reviews. Seek out those unique insights.

See a lot of huge brands using HeyFlow for quiz funnels Given their pricing isn't great for big scale Why are these big brands not building their quizzes propretiary/in house - the design is very easy. Am i missing something about why HeyFlow is amazing?

My top spending static ad (which was also top spending ad in the entire account) was made from a prompt created by @SarahLevinger based on the Von Restorff effect We've spent 6 figures on this one static the past few weeks Exact prompt I used below. (this is for the copy not image generation) I want you to generate 3 different concepts for a static ad for this angle {{Paste angle here}} Also, follow the instruction below Instruction: I want to create 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 using the Von Restorff Effect (aka “isolation effect”) and future pacing. These hooks should be so visually or cognitively distinct they demand attention—and they should pull the reader into a vivid vision of a better future. Use this 3-step process to generate ad hooks that are visually jarring, emotionally sticky, and psychologically magnetic. — Step 1: Start with a Pattern-Breaking Distinction Use weird, bold, or oddly specific phrasing to snap attention away from the scroll. We’re leveraging the Von Restorff Effect here—if it doesn’t look, sound, or feel like everything else in the feed, it wins. Examples: •“There’s a man in Finland who hasn’t paid for skincare in 10 years—and his skin looks like marble.” •“Marketing’s about to get very weird. Good brands will adapt. Great ones will weaponize it.” •“Imagine a sock so soft it makes you question your childhood.” — Step 2: Pull Them Into a Future They Want Now, we use future pacing—show them what their life could look like after your product fixes their problem. Make the future vivid, emotionally charged, and identity-altering. Examples: •“Three weeks from now, you won’t remember what foot pain even felt like.” •“In 90 days, you’ll wonder why you ever ran ads without knowing what your customer wanted.” •“You’ll try this once—and every other shirt will feel like sandpaper.” — Step 3: Deliver a Distinctive Insight That Feels Undeniably True Drop the emotional hammer. Give them an insight that explains why their current results suck—and why your solution is the unlock. This insight should be sharp, specific, and a little uncomfortable. Examples: •“You’re not being ignored. You’re just blending in.” •“Your competitors aren’t better—they’re just bolder.” •“Comfort isn’t a feature. It’s the reason people come back.” — Your Task: ✅ Start with something visually or cognitively distinct ✅ Use future pacing to trigger desire ✅ Land on a sharp insight that explains why the future is possible now

@hardwirdmale agencies have high churn rate so you'll need a sales team to scale ecom all you need is a cracked customer support VA

because it’s so easy to see why that it makes you ecom guys look bad. I’ll explain. you take a typical ecom store: $150 average order value. for me to make that 100K at a 2% conversion rate. and gross margins of 40% (if you’re doing drop shipping, your COGS will be higher - so 30% gross profit if you’re lucky) without ad costs factored in and your overhead I would have to fulfill on average 670 orders- which at 2% conversion is roughly 33,000 visitors to the landing page. if my ads are $5 a visitor (getting real hard to achieve this) that means $165000 in adspend just to make $100K I’m in the negative with adspend. $65K in the f*ckin whole for a cheap product. so if I run ecom and I actually WANT to be profitable - I would have to run all organic traffic (no easy feat for a beginner - you ecom guys know this but won’t admit it). Now on the flip side - someone runs an ecom email marketing agency instead. If I want to make the same $100K with this agency, at a 10% conversion rate from leads to client (doable and conservative) and charged $5K per client (average) per month to handle everything and automate then I would need 200 qualified leads and 20 clients to hit that same 100K I can templatize all my email campaigns and sequences hire a VA at $1800 a month Spend $50-$100 per lead ($10K-$20K in adspend - much less if I cold outreached) And $500 bucks a month for software I’m at 67-77% pure margin after everything is paid. I would work way less. I’m not over my head in ad costs and I don’t have to make 50-100 creatives every month. and if ads sh*t the bed, I’ll still be profitable. with ecom, you are barely profitable and even negative with ads. with agency, you have way more leverage. math never lies. ever notice the only people who complain about metas new update are in ecom? because it cripples them if they’re not meticulous. agencies and info products will never have this problem because both have enough meat on the bone profit and LTV wise. with way less traffic and ad spend. starting an ecom store in 2025/2026 is like opening up a restaurant with no cash and no credit. Stupid. My two cents.
Eclipse@AnthonyEclipse

I genuinely don't understand why more people don't get into ecom. You can go from $0 → $100K in 4-12 weeks with no inventory and no warehouse. Yes, you’ll need some cash for ads. But the business model is super simple: Find winning products. Run ads. Scale with no limits.
