Journalists and media workers however remain exposed and prone to contracting the virus since they are on the frontline of covering the pandemic. The government and media owners need to come up with concrete strategies of ensuring journalists are protected while on duty

On Friday last week, we had a review and reflection meeting with the @ICNLAlliance team on the #JustSpeech project. The next couple of years will require strategic interventions to protect freedom of expression and access to information in the closing civic space.
