Having a dog's great until it's 1am and you're in an emergency vet with a dog that's shooting out blood from both ends. I've cried more about this dog in the last week than anyone or anything in the last 10 years. Back to my own vets this morning.

Another long day in A&E. A good day with lots of adapted technique and teamwork. I realised at about 10am how little I actually know, and how far I’ve got to go, but I’m absolutely fine with that. Off to bed with a brew, and more of the same tomorrow. #raddiary

I’m really struggling to set myself some clinical learning objectives for my development plan. All I’ve got so far is “I just don’t want to be rubbish”, but I’m pretty sure that’s not quite what they’re after. 😩 #studentrad
