“If you were given $10,000 to gamble away…” already tells you the story they want. It frames gambling as losing before anything even happens.
From there, it’s just curation.
You’ve got a beginner with no process, on a deadline, spending free money..and that gets positioned like it represents the whole space. There’s no separation between casual betting, reckless behavior, and actual strategy.
That’s the issue.
I work in this space, so I’m not pretending to be neutral but this isn’t a real evaluation of the industry. It’s the most predictable failure case presented like it means something bigger.
If the goal was understanding, you wouldn’t run the test on someone who doesn’t even know basic bet types and call the result a conclusion.
