בואו נדבר קצת על חינוך. כבר שש שנים שמערכת החינוך פועלת במתכונת בין שגרה לחירום מול אתגרים עולמיים ואזוריים, ומלבד המעבר לזום, לא ניכר שום שינוי או התאמה לנסיבות החדשות. השנים הללו, בנוסף לתהליכים טכנולוגיים עולמיים ומערכתיים ותקציביים גורמים לתהליכי התפרקות. כל מי שנמצא במערכת החינוך הממלכתית העיקרית חווה זאת כשגם בחודשים האחרונים של השגרה לכאורה התאפיינו בביטולים יום יומיים ובהיעדר קיצוני של מורים. הכרה בהתפרקות הזו צריכה להיות נקודת מפנה למערכת, שקצת בדומה למערכות הביטחוניות תוביל ליוזמות והמצאות שיובילו לכך שישראל תצא מתוך המצב הנוכחי כמי שמובילה יוזמות חינוכיות לעידן הבינה המלאכותית ובכלל לעידן של מצבי חירום ושינוי תכופים. מה למשל? (ורעיונות נוספים יתקבלו בברכה בתגובות) 1) יצירת ״מערך יוזמות חירום״ שיאפשר חלוקת תקציבים מהירה ועם ביורוקרטיה מינימלית לטובת שלל יוזמות חינוכיות שיאפשרו לתלמידים ללמוד ללא מרחב פיזי של בית הספר תוך ניצול היכולות של בינה מלאכותית (ראו למשל יוזמת בתי ספר אלפא בארה״ב בהם לומדים שעתיים ביום בהדרכת בינה מלאכותית ושאר הזמן הוא לפעילויות חברתיות וספורט) 2) מימון יוזמות לימוד שהן רלבנטיות לרגע על בסיס בינה מלאכותית - למשל היום יש אפשרות לבקש מהבינה ליצור תכנית לימוד לחשבון לכיתה וו שמשתמשת בנושאי עניין של כל תלמיד - כלומר, שכל השאלות ישתמשו בדוגמאות מתחום הכדורגל. אפשר לעשות זאת ללמוד נושאים רלבנטיים להרגע - גיאוגרפיה של איראן, פיזיקה של טילים בליסטיים, כלכלה של אנרגיה, פיזיקה של מקורות אנרגיה שונים, קשר בין גאוגרפיה לפוליטיקה וכדומה. 3) יצירת מערך שמאפשר יוזמות חינוכיות מקומיות המחבר למשל את כל סגל ההוראה בעבר ובהווה בבניין מסוים עם כל התלמידים באותו בניין כדי לייצר פעילויות למידה במקלט של אותו בניין ולאפשר תגמול לאותם מורים. 4) מימון של פעילות עם מדריכי ספורט ותנועות נוער כדי לייצר פעילויות ספורט וחברה במקלטים מקומיים (קורה כבר באופן מקומי). מה שתיארתי למעלה דורש תקציבים מינימליים אבל חשיבה קצת פחות מקובעת - זה הכל. מקווה שיימצאו מי שיבינו שצריך קצת לזוז ולא רק לעסוק בשאלת ה-לפתוח או לסגור.

Gonna try to get back to the Daily archaeology posts (#74), (and maybe help people take a break from all of the tension): Heliodorus Stele, and what it has to do with Hanukkah? 🕎 Discovered at Maresha (Israel), this 2,200-year-old Hellenistic inscription, on display at the Israel Museum, records official correspondence in Greek between King Seleucus IV (187–175 BCE) and Heliodorus. The king appoints an overseer with authority over all sanctuaries in the province — including the Temple in Jerusalem — to control revenues and collect royal taxes. The stele gives the first independent confirmation of the dramatic events described in 2 Maccabees: Heliodorus’s failed attempt to seize the Temple treasury. Jews saw the appointment as a direct violation of their religious autonomy. Less than a decade later, Seleucus’s successor Antiochus IV Epiphanes escalated these policies, triggering the Maccabean Revolt and the events celebrated every Hanukkah 🕎
