The more CO2 there is, the higher crop yields we will have… It’s a natural fertiliser. It’s a fertiliser that is completely free. Since the start of the industrial revolution it was calculated that the 120 PPM increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration has increased agricultural production per land unit area for various crops by 46% on average. In some varieties the increase in carbon dioxide increased the agricultural yield by 263%! This is far more efficient and natural than any sort of fertiliser. There is a linear relationship between CO2 levels and the amount of food produced for most plants through to 800 ppm. These are the positive externalities of carbon dioxide. Time for a cost-benefit analysis!

This is a stupid post. There are dumb and smart people across the political spectrum. I know many intelligent leftists as well as many smart conservatives. I also know very stupid ones, but they tend to be far-left and far-right ideologues. Leftists tend to be better at the physical sciences such as physics and chemistry. That's why my field, meteorology, has a heavy left-wing bias in terms of its makeup of scientists. But conservatives at least don't deny basic biology and refuse to play along with the trans cult. Conservatives also tend to be better with engineering and economics. The smartest and most intellectually reasonable people I know, however, tend to be more Libertarian.
