This has been a truly unique experience for me. I had the opportunity to work closely with an outstanding group of neuroscientists and psychologists. Many thanks to the organizers, lecturers, and TAs of this summer school!

Two weeks with 30 super smart early career researchers and over 24 established leaders in @SocforNeuroecon. Thanks to @INSEAD, Paul Glimcher, @HPlassmann, Nathaniel Daw, Joe Kable, and TAs Camilla van Geen and Shemal Doshi! Looking forward to a repeat in two years!

Advising sibling first of course. @YangNanyin has read, reread, and given meaningful feedback on every paper I have sent her within 12 hrs. She is good at NSF advice (and is perhaps too humble abt receiving one), idea feedback, and sharing a fancy kettle in the office.

I wonder if anyone has done research on consent processes and tested whether IRB-recommended consent forms/information sheets are "better" or "worse" at informing subjects about the costs/benefits of participating? We need the data. (This one is pretty silly).

We just released a new study! We explore the efficacy of smart technologies, which have been heralded to increase energy conservation. Guess what we find from our field experiments, which generated more than 16 million hourly observations. #EconTwitter ideas.repec.org/p/feb/framed/0…

#MethodsMonday Randomized experiments have long been a traditional setting in agriculture but have a shorter history in economics. Today we would like to highlight the chapter- The Econometrics of Randomized Experiments by @Susan_Athey and Guido W. Imbens.
