In his latest book, "Lejonmyran," @larsarrhenius, Swedish Equality Ombudsman, shares poignant insights into Pre-genocide Rwanda, drawing from his childhood experiences in Rwanda and Burundi. He sheds light on everyday life and the discrimination faced by his friends. Lars's commitment to truth and justice is inspiring. Despite overwhelming evidence and international condemnation, there are those who seek to distort or outright deny the truth of what transpired. It is incumbent upon us to confront and debunk these falsehoods, for only by acknowledging the past can we build a future rooted in truth and reconciliation. As a country, we are grateful to firsthand witnesses of pre-genocidal Rwanda, who can share their story, a story of Rwanda, men of values and dignity, men such as Lars, who stand for the truth, for all to see and hear the truth. Such history needs to be captured in writings for all to learn from. Thank you @larsarrhenius for your unwavering commitment to truth amidst all the lies.
