The Dorset people break that rule completely.
Between ~500 BCE and 1000 CE, in the High Arctic, Dorset groups with no agriculture, no pottery, no metal, and no permanent villages built large communal stone-founded dwellings.
That shouldn’t happen… according to most models.

Many right-wingers like fantasy stories where elves represent aspects of our higher nature & humans are portrayed as a flawed race containing some evil groups who must be defeated. Avatar does the same thing but w aliens instead of elves, yet they can't stand it.
