NEW: FedEx driver who is accused of abducting and strangling a seven-year-old girl, puts his face in his hand as a photo is displayed of him driving her to her death. 7-year-old Athena Strand was seen standing behind Tanner Horner in his FedEx truck. Athena was allegedly snatched by Horner when he was delivering a Barbie doll to her home in Paradise, Texas. Horner initially claimed that he accidentally hit the girl with the truck before "panicking" and pulling her into the vehicle. He said he then strangled her in the vehicle and dumped the body 7 miles from the home. The photo, however, shows that Athena was alert in the truck and did not appear to have been struck by the truck. Wise County District Attorney James Stainton says the jury will see footage on the day of the killing, depicting the moment Athena was strangled to death. "Somebody covered up the camera because they don't want you to see. Guess what? Audio is still running, and you're going to hear it. You're going to hear what a 250-pound man can do to a 67-pound child," he said. "And when I say it's horrible, I mean it. I've been doing this for 25 years, and I promise you, buckle up." Horner qualifies for the death penalty.

American parent with 2 grown children ages 28 and 25, says America has changed and kids can no longer make it like they did “I thought by teaching them what I learned, which is you work hard, you get a good job, you're gonna get the things in life that you need, right? Worked for me, why wouldn't it work for them? Cause it doesn't. Because the world has f*cking changed, all right. And now I feel like I see them struggling. And before my generation comes at me, yes, I understand struggling is a part of life. We all struggled, but there's a difference between struggling and drowning. So we struggled and it was tough, but you know what? We made it. We knew there was a light at end of the tunnel with our struggle. It seems like kids today, no matter how much they struggle, they just get further and further down the water into the drowning point.” She goes on to explain in detail, how now it is essentially physically impossible, for a young person to make it in America today “Its no wonder there is a mental health crisis among the younger generation”

I feel a deep sadness. So many of us worked very hard to get Trump back in office. We believed he would put America First and no new wars would be started. What we have seen this term is the opposite of what we voted for, understand it is not MAGA that has changed, it is Trump. Trump was a vessel to achieve the goal, he has failed the mission and it is time he leave the office.

@WallStreetApes So then explain the crime in the Appalachians, where you have poor whites committing the majority of crime. It's the same concept that people commit crime no matter their race based on proximity. What we're not going to do is keep demonizing black folks. It's getting old & played

This is actually crazy, and Grok confirmed it’s true America’s real estate market bases values on proximity to black neighborhoods - Analysis of US metropolitan areas, the percentage of Black residents had a negative effect on housing prices - Studies estimate discounts of 20-23% (or more in some metros) for homes in majority-Black neighborhoods compared to similar homes in areas with near-zero Black residents - For example, Brookings research found owner-occupied homes in majority Black areas undervalued by roughly 23% nationally These models draw from Census data on racial composition at the tract or block level, which is publicly available and routinely merged with real estate transaction or appraisal data. “Black men commit violent crime at 20 times the rate of white men — Black women commit homicide at twice the rate of white men” “That's with the bad data. So imagine if we clean up the data, what the numbers would actually be”

According to the AARP, there is a new trend in America. The cost of living is so expensive retired people are retiring to work “A growing number of retired people are getting out of the recliner and heading back to work. The concept dubbed Unretirement has them doing things like driving for Uber to help pay the bills. Many people pick jobs, if not professions” “AARP says Unretirement has picked up in recent years as inflation's become more of an issue”
