I got a call tonight from a constituent whose son is in federal prison He explained that he hasn’t heard from his son in several days (which is unusual for him), that his son suffers from multiple, potentially life-threatening health conditions that are going untreated in prison, and that he needed to know whether his son was still alive He sent me the main switchboard number for the prison in question (which is on the east coast), and I called the number Someone answered almost immediately I explained who I was and why I was calling, and in particular that I needed to know whether this particular inmate was alive and well The guy scolded me three times for calling “too f***ing late” and refused to tell me anything Only when I persisted did he agree to check his records to confirm that the inmate in question was alive and well After checking a list briefly, he came back to the phone and said “he’s here, and he’s alive and receiving the treatment he needs” (His parents assure me that that’s simply not true) I asked politely if someone could leave the inmate a message asking him to call his parents in the morning He said, “it’s too late” I responded, “I don’t mean now, I mean in the morning” He scolded me again for calling too late, and then told me I’d have to call tomorrow and track down the inmate’s counselor I asked him if he could relay the note to the counselor for me He scolded me again for calling too late and asked me to call back tomorrow to track down the inmate’s counselor I asked for the guy’s name He refused to answer I asked for his name again He hung up on me That’s not okay Sadly, this is not the first time I’ve had this experience when talking to people from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons on behalf of constituents with an incarcerated family member suffering from a severe medical condition And each occasion, I’ve been treated at best with dismissiveness and at worst with contempt and profanity Has anyone else experienced this with the U.S. Bureau of Prisons?

Lt. Col. There were also at least two other cases at Air Force day care centers, and another one at a center run by the US Navy. 1988 (Nov. 4) – The FBI raided the Franklin Credit Union in Omaha, Nebraska, run by a man named Lawrence King. They uncovered evidence relating to drug running, pedophilia, pornography, and satanic activity involving prominent individuals in the local community and beyond. 80 children eventually came forward and identified many of those involved, including the chief of police (who impregnated one of the victims), a local newspaper publisher, a former vice squad officer, a judge, and others. The man charged with his murder is Davy Spencer, 47. What follows is not opinion. It is public record. —— 1995: Spencer's first criminal record. He was 16. 1996: Felony hit and run. Three counts of felony breaking and entering. Prison. 2004: Attempted drug trafficking. Assault on a female. Prison. 2006: Assault on a female. Wanton injury to property. Prison. 2009: Assault on a female. Prison. 2011: Drug possession. Communicating threats. Prison. 2013–2014: Multiple counts of selling heroin. Multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute. 2015: Convicted as a Habitual Felon — a designation reserved for those with three or more prior felony convictions. Under North Carolina law, a Class C Habitual Felon conviction carries a maximum sentence of 19 years. DA Timothy Severo negotiated a plea deal. Judge Jay D. Hockenbury accepted it. Spencer received a minimum term of 7 years, 3 months. —— January 17, 2021: Spencer is released. January 17, 2022: Parole ends. He is fully free. 2023: Arrested twice in New Hanover County. Given unsecured bonds of $1,000 and $100 respectively — meaning he paid nothing to walk out. He skipped both court dates. Both bond forfeitures were entered against him. He never paid. Nothing else happened. July 31, 2025 — 8 months before the murder: Spencer is arrested by the Wilmington Police Department and charged with resisting a public officer, marijuana possession, and assault on a government official or employee. DA Ben David's office negotiated a plea deal. Judge James H. Faison III accepted it. The assault charge was permanently dismissed. Spencer pleaded guilty to the two minor misdemeanors. His sentence: 27 days — which he had already served in pretrial detention. He walked out of court that same day. —— April 5, 2026 — Easter Sunday, 2:00 AM: Spencer stabbed Daniel Montano in the neck in the 100 block of North Front Street in downtown Wilmington. April 6, 2026: Montano died from his injuries. He was 21 years old. He was from San Bernardino, California. 🚨Horrific: A Florida man, Leon Norman Wiley Jr., was arrested after allegedly raping a girl over 500 times starting when she was just 12 years old — sometimes multiple times a day for nearly a decade. The abuse resulted in 7 pregnancies, and each time Wiley allegedly took the minor to abortion clinics for abortions. According to the victim’s statements to police, none of the clinics reported the suspected child sexual abuse to authorities, despite laws requiring it when a minor is pregnant. The victim only came forward years later (now in her early 20s) after Wiley allegedly began inappropriate contact with her own 7-year-old daughter. This is a disgusting example of how abortion facilities have been accused of covering up child rape and statutory abuse instead of protecting victims. Where was the mandatory reporting? How many other cases slip through because clinics prioritize “privacy” or procedure volume over child safety? A German Shepherd named Sparrow was found with a plastic muzzle permanently taped to his head using silver gaffer tape and brown parcel tape and had to be put to sleep. His owner, Joanne Falconer, 58, from South Shields, kept the muzzle on 24/7 only removing it four times a day for feeding. The underweight dog, already suffering severe skin disease and infection, couldn’t scratch, eat or drink properly and was in constant distress. RSPCA inspectors discovered him in this state last July. He was later put down. Falconer pleaded guilty to animal welfare offences. She was fined £300, ordered to pay costs and banned from keeping animals for five years. Two cats were also removed due to dehydration and flee infestations.
