@realBenBloch Be careful here The EFL and @Boro are making a serious case for @SouthamptonFC being excluded from the playoffs on the basis of someone associated with the club taking photographs on nearby land. So Reform may have a point. It can be against the law taking photographs

So, to be just one point shy of matching your total from the league below speaks to two things: -Exceptional summer recruitment under David Sharpe: 82% hit-rate for my money, with Power & Metcalfe the particular standouts (January more of a mixed bag admittedly) -Progress from pre-existing players like Wright, Pointon & Sarcevic -Fantastic management from Graham Alexander Totally saw it all coming too 🤥 In all seriousness, I do think this achievement was almost a bit ahead of schedule, as the club still has some infrastructural steps ahead of it, despite the progress made in that regard, and I hope that gets factored into performance appraisals hereon. Why didn’t Farage just declare the £5m personal gift from Harborne which, a few months before becoming an MP in 2024? The rules state new MPs "must register all their current financial interests, and any registrable benefits (other than earnings) received in the 12 months before their election within one month of their election". The rules also say "both the possible motive of the giver and the use to which the gift is to be put should be considered", adding "if there is any doubt, the benefit should be registered". Farage insists it was a purely personal gift and that he didn’t need to declare it
