This I'm respectfully submitting📌 I've severally out of conviction and with self funding been to ALL capitals of our member states and I've had the privilege of engaging with different stakeholders of the integration process at strategic level and the ordinary wananchi. I can, without fear of contradiction state that, ALL the eight partner states can't afford to each fail remittance of USD 7 Million annually, holding all other factors constant.📌 What I see here Mheshimiwa Mwenyekiti is LACK OF TOTAL COMMITMENT TOWARDS OUR DREAM & PERENNIAL DISREGARD TO PRIORITIZE BUDGET ALLOCATION TO EAC ACTIVITIES📌 Penye nia pana njia na Mwalimu kasha tuonya kwamba, "Nguvu ya wanyonge ni kuungana." Lakini kuungana kwenyewe lazima kuwe kwa vitendo. Naona kuna hatari kubwa ya kusubiria embe chini ya mnazi kulingana na hali ilivyo📌 Chair Sir, I beg to respectfully submit that, EAC Integration cannot survive on declarations alone. It requires sustained and predictable investment in the institutions that make it possible. Trade facilitation, infrastructure planning, health coordination, cross-border mobility, strategic regional security.... all require predictable financing. Without it, our commitments to the integration process remain largely declaratory while implementation stalls. By contrast, the European Union maintains MANDATORY CONTRIBUTIONS BACKED BY ENFORCEMENT MECHANISMS, SUSTAINING INSTITUTIONAL CONTINUITY DESPITE POLITICAL DIVERGENCE AMONG EU MEMBER STATES📌 Kama alivyokua akipenda kusema, Hayati John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, "Lazima twambizane ukweli." Now as you convene for your 45th Ordinary Summit tomorrow 7th March 2026, it remains our sincere hope that practical and tangible outcomes will be agreed upon. As of now, THE STATE OF AFFAIRS IS UNHEALTHY & RISKY📌 We don't want to even think of the 1977 unfortunate events. The universe has a way of conspiring! It started as an imitation in the Model UN General Assembly as a student with ambition. Twenty-seven years later, it is a reality. It is through the journey as a then-member of the UN Club and later Chair of the Youth of the United Nations Association of Tanzania (YUNA) that I got to associate myself closely with the work of the UN in Tanzania and later the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where, coincidentally, I was first placed in the Department of Multilateral Cooperation (DMC). As a young officer, I frequently traveled to New York to attend the UN General Assembly and other UN meetings. Little did I know that one day I would stand proud and represent my country as the Permanent Representative to the United Nations, New York. I thank Her Excellency President @SuluhuSamia for entrusting me with this honor, role, and responsibility. I accepted with much humility, and I look forward to doing my best in representing my country with all my skills, will, and abilities.
