@RivianTrackr The most commonly used cars on Uber today are Camrys, Prius, Hyundais etc.. they are appliances not cars people aspire to buy. Also R2 isn't designed maximum efficiency. Robotaxi is a race to the bottom, companies will be fighting for pennies per mile.

What the hell is going on?! I get Rivian can use the money and stock pump from these types of announcements but for me as a consumer, it's not a good look for the brand image.

@RivianUpdates I’m a key fob type of person. Glad to see R2 will still allow to have one

I’m the only Rivian owner that uses the key fob and I see why. The battery dies every 6-7 months.

With the range of 330 with 21s... when you put on 20 inch all terrains... that may be looking at 295 or so... real world 250.

12V battery alerts popped up on my R1T. It is 4 years old so it seems to be on the low end of 12V typical life but these trucks do have a lot of accessory loads etc. It actually popped up right after I picked my truck up from service for a separate issue that prevented the truck from DC Fast Charging. Anyway, I followed the prompts in the app and called Rivian Service, 12 minutes later I’m scheduled for an appointment. Would have preferred for this to have been done in the app rather than wait for someone to manually type in concerns that are exclusively limited to the warning the truck gave me. The appointment is currently scheduled in 3 weeks time. I’m driving by the service center later today ahead of some upcoming travel so I asked if it’s possible to exchange the 12V this afternoon rather than risking the truck dying over the next 3 weeks. We’ll see! I know Rivian has a service scheduling function in the app, just wish they’d leverage that a bit more to catch up to the Tesla experience ⚡️
