This new law will encourage young people to be engaged in our democracy by allowing a 17-year-old to vote in a primary if they will be 18 by the general election. Great work by House sponsor @JBoylan4RI. "Many young people in our communities are engaged and paying attention,” said Representative Boylan. “If they’ll be voting in the general election, they should have a say in who appears on the ballot.
