Data from The Violence Project database (1966–2023, 172 cases) and Statista (1982–2025): 52–55% of mass public shooters are white males. Middle Eastern perpetrators (proxy for some Muslim cases) are ~4%. Muslim-led mass shootings are a small absolute fraction vs. the white majority, most of whom are from Christian cultural backgrounds. White males commit more.
