Civilization is a biological phenomenon, the outward expression of a people’s soul carried across time and impressed upon the world. Culture rises from that soul and becomes the ordered realm of meanings through which a people knows itself. Technology is one such meaning given visible form, the material extension of an inner nature shaped by long inheritance. The Third World arises when forms born from an altogether different soul are artificially imposed upon peoples whose frame cannot sustain them. Western technologies and systems of thought arrive stripped of the inner substance that once gave them coherence. The result is not genuine modernization but a simulacrum, a disfigured likeness that deepens disorder and hardens the conditions that define the Third World.

🚨 Muslim mother racially abused at Bescot retail park in Walsall, West Midlands This morning, a white man racially abused and spat on a Muslim mother in front her baby in Bescot retail park in Walsall. He called her “dirty pak*” after spitting on her. Statement from the victim: “I went to Bescot retail park with my 10 month old baby this morning. As it is a fairly busy retail park and was during the morning time and school holidays, I felt it was safe for me and my daughter to go alone, as we often do. As I came out of one shop to make my way towards another, I saw a tall white male on his own walking towards us. I thought nothing of it. When he got a little closer I noticed he was looking straight towards us. As he approached, I heard him make a noise as if to clear his throat and he then spat at me, on my coat. I was in shock as it was completely unprovoked and especially given that I had my baby with me in the pushchair. I almost felt it was an accident at first. He then called me a dirty pak*. I froze in shock as he carried on walking as if nothing had happened. As I had my daughter with me and was worried if he would turn back to us and do or say something more, I returned to my car. It was frightening and has made me very nervous to go out alone with my daughter. I am born and raised in Walsall and my parents are British too, and so I find it quite shocking to hear racist remarks, but have noticed this is becoming more and more common as time goes on, especially within the West Midlands area. It is sad to say but as an Asian woman, I no longer feel safe in the area.” The incident has been reported to the police.
