If a man takes the "paedo-communion" exception in the PCA, and then goes and practices PC, we'd rightly be livid. YET-elders take exceptions to the 2nd and 4th commandment constantly, practice their exceptions, and we say NOTHING.

@presbyterianpew This seems like a false choice. 8/10 commandments are stated negatively, but the Reformed have always read them to include more than just a bare prohibition. Sometimes Paul promotes what women can do positively, and other times he prohibits. Both are valid.

Honoring, discipling, and employing the gifts of women in the church is like honoring and celebrating the Sabbath. If your only concept is framed by "Thou shalt not" you've lost the thread and you are despising something beautiful God created for the good of his people.

So what things (in theology, education, business, politics, counseling, sports, the church, the household economy, and any other fields you can think of) can a woman do? Also, what should women who can't get married or have children do?
