Hayden Christensen recalls going on a walk with George Lucas one evening while filming 'Revenge of the Sith' "George ended the conversation by saying to me, ‘Hayden, you can't change the world. It's not possible. All you can do is try to make your own world and then invite other people to be a part of it' ... It was one of the most profound things that anyone's ever said to me, and it has really informed the way I live my life"

@kevin_nealon Nobody cares on the audience side. That's what matters. The Beavis & Butthead sketch wouldn't be nearly as popular as it was without the breaks.

I never broke character on SNL. I knew how much time the writers put into those scripts. You don’t want to be the one who throws it off. Lorne doesn’t like when the cast breaks. Even if the audience laughs, it doesn't work for the sketch. If I could get through the Chippendales sketch, I could get through anything.

@zeroxjackson I'm an aisle guy. But if I get to my row first (usually do) I open the shade and blast the fans. No one has ever closed it yet when they sit. Everyone else seems to just leave it as they find it.

To those who leave the airplane window closed during takeoff/landing, Have you no whimsy? No childlike wonder? Are the subtle joys of life lost on you, air traveler? Hath ye spirit died already, body unburied?

Air Canada flight attendant Solange Tremblay was seated in her jumpseat when she was thrown more than 300 feet from the CRJ when it crashed into the fire truck at LaGuardia Airport on Sunday night. Tremblay’s daughter, Sarah Lepine, told media that what happened to her mother was a “total miracle.” She said her mother had multiple fractures to one leg and will need surgery but otherwise was OK.

Harvard sophomores Brian Seeve and Michael Tucker have covered their dormroom walls and ceiling with the words “All your Base are Belong to US,” a phrase from a Japanese video game that was made into an internet music video that is sweeping the country as a “meme.” Youth not only at Harvard, but at high schools and colleges across the United States, are shouting and posting “All your Base are Belong to US.”

I love how zoomers seem to think it’s totally normal to walk around with their bare midriffs showing in the middle of the day in public. Like, no… anyway, here’s the attention you ordered!

At 40, do not give up on your life. This is the age where many people quietly surrender, not openly, not dramatically, but slowly. They wake up, go to work, return home, repeat the cycle, and call it living. The dreams they once had are no longer spoken about. The risks they once wanted to take are now replaced with fear. Life becomes routine, and routine slowly becomes a prison. At 40, you may look around and feel like time has moved faster than you expected. You start measuring your life against what you thought it would be. Some plans worked. Many did not. And somewhere inside, a voice may begin to whisper, “maybe this is all there is”. That voice is dangerous. Because the truth is, 40 is not the end of your story. It is the age where seeing finally arrives. You now understand things you did not understand at 25. You see people more clearly. You recognize mistakes faster. You know what matters and what does not. The real tragedy is not being lost at 40, it is deciding to stop trying at 40. Some people give up not because they cannot continue, but because they are tired of starting again. They are tired of failure, tired of disappointment, tired of hoping. So they settle into a life that looks stable on the outside but feels empty on the inside. You still have time. Use this phase to rebuild your finances, restore your health, mend broken relationships, learn new skills, and step into the person you once believed you could become. Number 40 means ‘Transition’. So it is not the age to give up, it is the age to become honest with yourself. Because one day you will be 60, looking back at 40, and realizing you were not old, you were just tired. And if you are not careful, that tiredness can quietly turn into a life you never truly lived.

You will live in the AI slop apartment. Your clothes washer will be under your kitchen sink. You have no dryer. There's wood paneling on the walls for some reason. You will smile at the candle that is burning 4 inches away from your 24 foot tall curtains. You pay $20,000/mo and can't access the stairs up to your shitty loft bedroom. There is no bathroom. You will be happy.
