Pearson Sped hosted our first Virtual Game social hour! Kids are in need of connection and fun during a season that can be very isolating. It was so fun to see kids having fun outside of school time. @FISD_PearsonMS @frisco_sped

Them: “Make sure teachers make virtual learning engaging and interactive for their students.” Also them: *Talks at you for two hours in a meeting.*

Ss was struggling with a math concept, I could see I was just adding fuel to the fire! @williamsang97 to the rescue! She was able to help get him calm and break down the topic in a way he could understand. It was amazing to watch! The experts are right next door! @FISD_PearsonMS

Today, student’s interviewed a Veteran and crowd favorite, Officer Wilcox. Then they honored other Veterans in our Pearson fam with cards, posters, and notes of thanks. My heart might burst! So much gratitude for these and all Veterans. @FISD_PearsonMS @FriscoPD #VeteransDay

For some staff PD this year we immersed them in choice boards to learn about choice boards. Three different levesl of choice boards depending on their knowledge of the subject. We then embedded different learning styles inside each different board. #CampusBadges #PatriotStrong.
