@xadeejourno I'm skeptical that DHA is built on state land. Also, why would the seller sell in peanuts? He's a civilian, and I don't see why it should matter to him whether it's for families of martyrs or anyone else. Usually they are built outside the urban centers so cost of land is less

No. Army officers are not allotted plots by the government. Army has its own welfare scheme. DHA is built on private lands, privately acquired from private owners, privately developed, and everybody pays for the plots from their own pocket less the next of kins of shuhadas (for whom other members contribute). This model is being increasingly imitated by other organizations also. Rest is all hearsay and propaganda. I don't want to say anything about how plots are received by judges and media persons / journalists because

During the Shah's time, the Pakistan Air Force and Imperial Iranian Air Force (IIAF) used to conduct regular armament competitions. Th Shah was very fond of the PAF. The IIAF would show up with their F-5s, and on alternate years, PAF would take their jets to Iran. A photo of a very one-sided scoreboard from one of those exercises, during which PAF F-6 (MiG-19) went against the IIAF F-5s, is provided below. Unfortunately, I do not have any high-quality photos of those F-5s in Pakistan, but they are available in PAF archives to be (hopefully) properly scanned and shared.

Someone get the negotiations out of Pakistan and conduct them ANYWHERE else for God’s sake.
