@Nathan_Hursh Although, and this really is my argument (I believe Yorke is a classic AAAA player), Yorke only has 106 BBEs (batted ball events) to Nick's 888. That's not a large enough sample size. But maybe you're right.

I would start Yorke at third base over Gonzales. The bat has higher upside imo and defensively, neither move the needle

@djthomas73 Good projections, probably pretty close. They got themselves an actual ball club this year. Are there areas that could be improved, of course, but for everyone not named the Dodgers, that's a common theme.

From the looks of it this is adequate depth. The real question is what will the quality of those innings be from guys like Urquidy, Clevinger and the younger guys. Even though it would have been better for them to sign another starting pitcher, this will play. #LetsGoBucs

It's official. Carmen Mlodzinski will start the season in the Pirates rotation. After he started last year in the rotation, he was sent down and then ultimately returned back to the pen in 2025. However, there was much talk about his new splitter as well as curveball while switching up his pitch mix. Do you think Carmen is a different pitcher and ready for the starter role this time around? @throwaway47893 @Jason_Shetler The part you're missing is another team can't offer him more money for another 6 years. If he takes the offer now, then he's only 27 when he is a free agent and then more than quadruples that. But the 100+ now secures his future through injury or just not being good.
