I'm very honored to receive the DARPA Young Faculty Award (YFA) this year! 🎉 This award will support my lab's work on unifying uncertainty + safety for embodied AI and foundation-model-powered robots 🤖✨

I felt super honored and lucky to be part of the 2025 Eno LDC cohort. The week-long program at DC is very eye-opening and truly amazing. I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to bring this perspective into my future work!

A REDnote post has given me hundreds of real PhD followers today, shocker 🤯. Don't really understand some of the buzz words, but researchers are the basis of all Sci. We will continue to support them.

Excited to share our work about the MVT, a large-scale highway field test for which we trained autonomous vehicles to smooth out traffic flow using deep reinforcement learning, then deployed our AI controllers onto 100 vehicles in busy morning traffic. Read more below! (1/n)

So. I'm going to be an incoming professor @nyutandon in civil engineering in 2023! Likely be working on multi-agent learning and RL for mixed human-autonomous systems (think autonomous vehicles, zero-shot coordination, transportation systems, etc.)
