@MarcLobliner This is called bullshit. At 45° the ACL takes major stress. There isn't a physical therapist on the planet that would be advising this.

My God you people are retarded. This is called “prehab”. Before surgery, you get the area as strong as possible. After surgery, as soon as you can move, you go. With an ACL, they’ll have Conor doing loaded exercises within a week. You don’t know ball, so kindly shut the fuck up. You’re making us legit conspiracy theorists look bad.
Truth Seeker@_TruthZone_

Conor McGregor is already doing leg workouts 2 weeks after his fake injury 😂😂😂 These people are mocking you....

@OInvests @mitulkanji It's not about that. It's about how government responds immediately, which isn't happening. When you replace a generation of jobs - you have a generation of unemployed, trained workers.

@ZoggleTheZoggle @mitulkanji Jobs have been created. I’m actively seeing that. I’m also seeing a transition from legacy ways of working to a change in responsibilities / role description

@OInvests @mitulkanji No. Nothing has been create be AI, that's not how it works. The real issue at the heart of all of this is "just because we can, doesn't mean we should."

@ZoggleTheZoggle @mitulkanji Digital era of AI (where we sit now) has created roles that didn’t exist prior, it’s also changed the responsibilities for those that did exist. I hope physical AI has the same impact of role creation

@OInvests @mitulkanji It is if the socio-economic structure requires it. This isn't a conversation about society - it's about the jobs within them. And if we're going to start erasing human labor - we need to adapt and respond to what that means in reality.

@Dejisco29 I hate Seinfeld (the guy, love the show). But he's right. Athletes/competitors need to see the larger game. It's not bad. It's not horrible. It's just a chink in the armor. Something that served nothing other than the talent's ego. Again, not bad. But unnecessary.

Jerry Seinfeld explains why Tom Brady missed the perfect retirement Jerry Seinfeld: Let’s go back, if I may, to an obsession of mine, which is Brady winning that Super Bowl with Tampa Bay, his first year out of the Patriots. How do you miss that moment as the greatest retirement opportunity? I mean, I went to another team and took them all the way, my first year. Anybody in show business would know, “I just did the impossible.” “Goodnight, everybody. You’re old anyway. This is not going anywhere. Take that trophy and say, ‘I’m out!’” Adam Carolla: I know. Jerry Seinfeld: That’s show business! That’s good show business! But these guys don’t care about show business.

@roropsych It doesn't matter where your axis is. Whatever is at 12 o'clock relative to you is the starting point. If you go right - it's tight. If you go left - it's loose.

People say "lefty loosey, righty tighty" but that was always confusing to me because the screw is turing in a circular corkscrew fashion. If you look at the top of the screw it will appear to be turning right but the bottom turning left. Am I dumb?

Beef jerky is so expensive by weight because drying removes most of the beef’s water. It can take roughly 2.5–3 pounds of raw beef to produce one pound of jerky, before adding trimming, marinating, processing, packaging, and the gas-station markup. This bag still comes out to an absurd $76 per pound

@kulakelite It's also exothermic. It's heating up for another 10 minutes until it starts to cool. Any wires being run in there are exposed. Standard is 167F? The core of that insulation can easily hit 180F for extended time.

The only issue is not being required to run wires through PVC conduit prior to spraying the foam. Homes need to be designed with serviceability in mind.

@metalfreak665 @bigwerms @Chad_Hominem_ It also puts pressure on the ACL... at about 45 degrees. Which is why doing full 90s is the stupidest fucking thing he could do with an ACL problem. Hence me saying there isn't a physical therapist on the planet that would recommend he do this - because it would make it worse.

@ZoggleTheZoggle @bigwerms @Chad_Hominem_ The ACL prevents anterior tibial translation, knee extensions put pressure on the PCL visa posterior translation. It's generally safe for him to do, the main issue is TKE as the quads can then begin to put pressure on the ACL

It’s crazy how many “cinema experts” and “movie buffs” don’t understand how box office revenues work. “The Odyssey made $328M in one week! That’s great!” No, genius. It cost $250M to make, had $150M in advertising, and then theaters get their cuts. That’s not great.

My 16 year old niece stayed with us this week. She told us very nonchalantly and very genuinely that “everyone” her age is trans, nonbinary, queer, ADHD, autistic, and/or bipolar. I’m not anti any of these identities, but how are they so prominent in younger people and why?
