TL;DR: We can scale Zcash pretty easily, maybe even this year, up to 660 TPS, and that's post-quantum. Right now we're at 3 TPS. We will have post-quantum recovery and privacy this year as well: - Post-quantum recovery: your funds are safe even after a quantum computer arrives. - Post-quantum privacy: a quantum attacker can't de-anonymize you. Full post-quantum soundness, to protect against minting fake coins and double-spends, is less urgent and a couple years out as it's a bigger engineering lift.
