Stonehaven aren’t pollsters, they’re lobbyists, being paid by the gas industry to prolong unhealthy, dirty, climate-destroying boilers. As it happens, all electric homes are cheaper to run, better to live in and healthier. The gas industry know this and are shitting themselves.

So, @OctopusEnergy Intelligence and @myenergiuk Zappi should be working together properly very soon. No more "dumb" Fast mode, and hopefully I'll be able to use my excess solar instead of pushing it to the grid for peanuts. I wonder where we can find out it's ready?

@OctopusEnergy It's not really the outgoing tariff is the issue, it's that you control my car when I have excess solar stopping me from using my own green energy to charge me 10x more for yours.

Gutted that @OctopusEnergy is ignoring the fact that intelligence tariff stops self gen solar use in favour of forcing me to sell at 4p and selling back to me at over 40p. Feeling conned. Still no call back after asking about this again. 😢

@_AdamSaunders @OctopusEnergy Set the charge time in your Tesla to start at 23:30, then it'll never start charging outside the cheap period... if Octopus Intelligent gives you a charge slot outside the normal cheap period, it'll tell the Tesla to start charging, overriding it

@OctopusEnergy I have high hopes for it, but the integration with Tesla seems ropey mainly because Tesla's APIs are somewhat unpredictable. Would be FAR better if it worked with @myenergiuk zappi!!! Come on guys, you both have good APIs.. what's the hold up?
