@CraigMurrayOrg Would be interested to know, is it safe enough for a kid to use unsupervised? And does it actually connect places usefully, i.e. is it part of a network and does it get you to shops, schools or the pub? Or is it just a random stretch of paint?

I have a cycle lane running outside my home. I have cctv on the front of the house. Today I reviewed on fast forward 10am to 11am. Zero cycles passed along the cycle lane. This is not a trendy opinion, but I would rip up almost all Edinburgh's cycle lanes which clog the city and cause pollution from endless traffic queues.

This example is unintentionally proving exactly why LTNs are needed. They’re worried that a 0.2k (c6min walk) journey in London, from the bottom of Aubert Park to the top, now requires a 1.8mile diversion (14min drive). For a journey entirely on the same st, walking is an option.

@francesca_kms Here's an example of the stupidity of LTN's....if a someone wants to get from from the bottom of Aubert Park to the top of Aubert Park (let say a delivery) they have to do a 1.8 mile diversion that will take 14 minutes rather than 30 seconds.

@tfwrail Hi again, I was just checking the ferry timetables which are now there until the 24th May, however you're showing the Swift ferry at 16:45 but Irish Ferries has it at 17:15. This means I won't be able to book the best connecting train from London. Can you please check? Thanks!

Hi @tfwrail, I'd like to book a #sailrail ticket on 26th May 2023 via Holyhead to Dublin but it doesn't look like the ferry timetable is loaded in for most of May. Please can you get this added in, especially for the Irish Ferries Swift service? Thanks!

The government gave some staff in the NHS a pay rise yesterday, and then said that the cost must come out of existing NHS budgets. It refused a pay rise to the police. It’s as if they’re saying there is a shortage of money. There isn’t. A thread’s needed to explain that…..
