Your childish and immature insults aside; for the sake of the argument let's say I grant that maybe he was opposed to slavery even though his writings and actions tell a different story. This does nothing to contradict anything I said in my comment.
He was a military commander serving a political entity whose main purpose was to defend and maintain the institution of slavery. The legal documents of secession make this clear as do the writings of those who founded and maintained positions of authority within that structure. This is a historical fact. As a military commander, he lead armies in both offensive and defensive campaigns that directly resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans and prolonged the conflict resulting in an estimated 1 - 1.5 million American casualties in total.
All of this done in the defense of a political entity created to preserve the institution of slavery.
This is the truth that needs to be known.

I understand that English isn't your first language, and so the nuance of the language is sometimes difficult to fully understand. When the text explicitly describes his face as white, it means he had a white face. When the text explicitly describes his face as white, it doesn't mean his face is another color.

That’s not at all why they weren’t put on trial. The U.S. wanted to punish the South anyway they could.
The reason they didn’t bring them to trial is by law they had done nothing wrong. If the brought them to trial anyone involved in the war on the U.S. side could be brought up on charges.
