I love those photos shot with like older cameras or camcorders or whatever that place a date in a lower right corner so much. Vibe, nostalgia, whatever u wanna call it. This and the LoFi potato-recorded videos are for me like VHS stuff is for Gen Xers\Millenials

@_BulgarianBread @ChungTzuW 3/3 Другие буквы часто выбираются либо по порядку соответственно созданию данного нового варианта, либо по названию этого варианта (дефорсированный, экспортный, лесовоз etc.).

@ChungTzuW Gosh, I love Eastern Bloc naming logic (it doesn't exist). Either way, someone, while writing, seemingly decided to create a new model abbreviation which was just never actually used (if I understood correctly)

@_BulgarianBread That is incorrect, it was never formally abbreviated like that as far as is known. Otherwise T-80U would be T-80BU since it was also known as 'Т-80Б Усовершенствованный' at one point

@Jonpy99 @RevengeofRatMan Not too relevant, but I'd like to point out that most if not all T-72s in service in Bulgaria are actually T-72M. I believe that the T-72M2 designation is also a myth - likely a proposed upgrade years ago which never actually materialized. There may also be some T-72 and T-72A.

@trip_to_valkiri Hey, do you have some photos of Bulgarian AKs that are in use with the Ukrainian Armed Forces? I'm aware of the AR-M9s they've used during training abroad but haven't yet seen any in Ukraine.

Ukrainian Armed Forces seem to have adopted a principle regarding the use of Non-Soviet AKs: Chinese and Yugoslav-made variants are issued to rear-end/training troops, while Bulgarian and Polish AKs are frequently issued to Front Line Brigades.

#Bulgaria/#Germany 🇧🇬🇩🇪: Bulgaria plans to procure at least 12 MARS 3 MLRS, better known as EuroPULS. Sofia intends to purchase these systems through the German Bundeswehr, which is considering entering into a framework agreement for the procurement of approximately 500 of these systems. If order is placed, Bulgaria would finance the purchase of the MARS systems through the European military fund SAFE. Bulgaria had originally planned to acquire American M142 HIMARS, but reportedly opted for the German-Israeli EuroPULS due to long delivery times. @NotWoofers I got enough good books on the T-72 that it is simply not worth watching a video that does not even cover the tank the deep corruption that allowed for its existence. :)

As U.S. and Cuban officials negotiate over the future of the Communist-ruled and economically besieged Caribbean island nation, the Trump Administration is seeking to push President Miguel Díaz-Canel from power in Havana. In a move that, similar to recent actions in Venezuela, would topple a key figurehead but leave in place the Communist repressive government that has ruled Cuba since 1959. The Americans have signaled to Cuban negotiators that President Díaz-Canel must go, but are leaving the next steps up to the Cubans, four people familiar with the talks have told The New York Times.

@WKoumrian @trip_to_valkiri ..Arsenal JSCo could have continued stamped receiver production exclusively for the US export market (aka Arsenal Inc). That's probably all I know up to this point. I'd be happy if someone shares more on the topic. 3/3)

@WKoumrian @trip_to_valkiri I could be wrong, but some time ago licensing issues arose and I would assume that's why Arsenal decided to modify the trusty AK-47 Type 3 into today's AR-M1 variants that we have. I assume Arsenal Inc simply had a large stock ot stamped Bulgarian receivers or.. 2)
