@JoeStephenson96 Whitby has an amazing youth hostel in a mansion! Someone else has already said it, but Staithes is absolutely lovely, not sure how doable it is with public transport however? Equally the whole North York Moors area is stunning and is pretty well connected trains-wise

"Visitors to UK's 'best' city hit with urgent warning after E.Coli discovery." People being advised not to come into contact with the River Cam. E.Coli are about six times higher than the standard for safe bathing water. How's the tourist season going? express.co.uk/news/uk/190806…

@bazdjcooper Delap+Connelly’s hold up play was vital, Delap looks unbeatable whenever he gets a chance to drive at defenders. Vinagre should 100% keep his place, he looked excellent - got the impression he was trying a bit too hard to prove himself, could release the ball earlier sometimes

Seri and Slater in the middle of the park were brilliant and bossed it. Greavesy tremendous. Traore still worries me, though. #hcafc

Really good from #hcafc at Leicester. Rocky defensively to start but with recovered well and looked a real threat. Big statement performance and result for Liam Rosenior.

Gateshead’s match against Dunston called off after an incident at half time. Two cars driven onto the pitch with masked men getting out and leaving a hearse on the pitch. Police in attendance.

There is nobody in sport more likely to recognise a potentially tough battle than Conor Coady. Conor Coady puts his thumb on the kettle button every morning and says to himself ‘This is not going to be easy, not at all, I know how hard turning this thing on is going to be’
Sky Sports Football@SkyFootball

"I certainly know how tough it is" Conor Coady says Leicester cannot underestimate their Championship opponents in the 2023-24 season 🦊

@Stafinhooo @Trraavv I agree that infrastructure for a full transition to electric vehicles is no where near ready yet, and I do understand why people get angry about roadblocks. Which is why I think disrupting major sporting events is the perfect form of non violent protest tbh

@_FinlayEvans_ @Trraavv less so about sports more so disrupting people just trying to live their lives. blocking entire roads isn’t the right way to go about it. people don’t have the means to instantly switch to electric or at least hybrid vehicles instantly, especially not w todays economy

@Stafinhooo @Trraavv Interested to hear what the ‘right’ way of doing it is tbh - they’re managing to draw attention to an issue in an incredibly mainstream way, whilst also causing minimal disruption. Seems to be the best of both worlds to me?

Biblical levels of boot-licking here, fair play Anyone would think they weren’t being fleeced £55 per game by the club
lee@moore_l83

@burnagedaydream @SCFCJosh96 Must be nice when ya clubs inflated every sponsorship for over 10 years and got 115 charges. Our owners don’t want that for our club. There’s a difference when ya owners act responsibly

@moore_l83 @lumomichalik @SCFCJosh96 This is the essence of the problem, isn’t it. You’re now comparing going to a football game to attending a Michelin star restaurant, something only the super-rich can afford. Football used to the a sport for the working class, and now it’s not. And you’re cheering that on.

@lumomichalik @SCFCJosh96 If you can’t afford to eat at a Michelin restaurant u don’t eat there. Life’s full of sacrifices. Things don’t come for free like u obviously want

say it's not my place or wherever but the responses here are wrong, whether it's the 'we need to pay higher prices to compete' or basically setting the ground to be charged even more as the years roll on.

The whole interview so far is about numbers. Robinson has not talked for a moment about humanity. After the slap down of Lineker, *this* is BBC ‘impartiality’; cold, bleak discussion of how efficient the brutality will be.
