Where your money is, that is where your heart is. Her heart is in her father's home. . . . To address your question, every income in a home is family income. You and your partner are to plan your finances and decide how much you send to each family each month. If emergency arises, you can discuss and see how much you can send, then you know how to navigate the rest of the month as a family. In situations where there is a joint account where you put like 80% of your income each for the home and keep 20% for yourselves, you can send extra money home from your 20%, which is yours to spend as you please. What you will not do is keep your entire salary to yourself and be paying bills in your father's house while abandoning your primary responsibility which is your immediate family.
