@Dan_Trend Well, beggars aren't choosers. Nevertheless thanks for the tip. And since i need to master agentic software engineering anyway (plus stuff like data lakehouse handling, parquet files and many more)... I see this as a chance to burn two bridges with one fire...

Questions for Mr. @laurensbensdorp . In the Short RSI Thrust in your book, you write "the day after we place the order, place a buy stop". Does that mean that there is not stop on entry day? If yes, Do you still use this rule? And did you run into CODX in 02-2020?

@Dan_Trend @laurensbensdorp Most of my time is spent on the data layer and technical tasks. "Universe = all US stocks" is a challenge. So is making all the different rules work correctly. Happily looking forward to the point in time when i can actually work on the strategy pipeline.

@Dan_Trend @laurensbensdorp Thanks for your input. I already noticed that every detail matters and doing detailed analysis of single trades isn't optional. At the moment I'd be happy to arrive at anything that isn't Long Trend Following and profitable, to fill out the potholes :-)

@_Flin_ yep, correct. Day after. Yes I use rules like that. Note: use the systems as a concept. As a starting point. But make it YOUR own system, your brainchild.

So, what have i been up to lately? After losing in 2025, i revisited my baseline setup. And i figured that VCP is not for me. The time commitment does not fit into my lifestyle. So i stumbled over @laurensbensdorp at the @TraderLion Conference 2025. And his style resonates. 🧵

5/5 The system does what it is supposed to. Beats the Nasdaq. And tbh, striving for 60%-100% is not my cup of tea. I rather strive for continuous improvement. Systematically. By adding non-correlation. It just makes sense for me, and fits my life and time restrictions.

I sold all my Bitcoin. I am putting it all into physical nickels. Yes, you read that correctly. Here is the math: A nickel is worth 5 cents forever (legal tender). But the metal inside (copper/nickel) is worth 6.2 cents right now. I am buying money for a 20%+ discount. If copper price crashes, I still have 5 cents. If copper moons, I have a fortune. People can laugh now but they won’t laugh for long. The downside is zero.
