What's that you say? BLAM! #Digsite This November, celebrate the 20th anniversary of #Halo 2 first-hand with a restoration of the mythical "Earth City" mission, as originally debuted at E3 2003. This will be available for MCC via PC workshop & tags. (More info at a later time)

@MsBin117 Working with @_IISEV_ to glow things up to another level with E3 was awesome. It's a shame about the perf overhead with overlapping lights but very cool to see just how far 2004 tech can be pushed with hand crafted scripting\design, good scene composition and level\object art

An upcoming update for our #Halo 2 E3 port restores additional lights that were previously disabled. You will also now find an additional version under mission selection for the mod that features a version of the level with lower quality lighting shaders for improved performance

Releasing this Halo 2 E3 demo is one of the best things to happen in games this year. It’s difficult to describe the impact this demo had on us Halo fans back in the day. On this 20th anniversary of Halo 2, it’s a treat.

@dark1x @Per_Vertex Orig. E3 build is a shadow map system much like retail lightmap shadows, but we believe they were higher res + unfiltered, hence the "crisp" look. Our port expands on remaining dynamic light tech still in retail Halo 2, with special shaders by @_IISEV_ to recreate the feel

Display gamma is also busted in MCC, so for the correct visual look, your display should generally have #Halo 2 Classic gamma set around 6. The visual "NOT VISIBLE" mark is a bad indicator for measurement + not representative of the real threshold of black. #BringHaloModsToXbox
