@Kannan9900 Many studies have shown that specific mito stresses can regulate the NLRP3 inflammasome activation. It's intriguing to investigate further whether the mito stress sensor protein DELE1 could potentially play a role in the NLRP3 inflammasome pathway in innate immune cells.

A naive question: How does DELE1 and NLRP3 (inflammasome) connect or compare? A quick search of the literature didn't yield anything. Hence the Qn. Thank you.

Mitochondrial stress causes DELE1 to form a large signaling scaffold that activates the integrated stress response. Congrats @_JieYang for initiating this project several years ago, and our amazing collaborators in the @LabWiseman and @KampmannLab labs! rdcu.be/diKmx
