Legit how I see it. England scored in the 55' minute. He didn't change anything tactically until 72' when he went 3 at the back which, is fine.
Those 18 minutes, the England players took it upon themselves to sit back and try not concede imo.
82' is when Tuchel committed to it

I dont think Tuchel told anyone to sit back but realised the weak mentality of the squad as they dropped deep and said to himself might as well try and help with the additions that fit this mindset. England players gave up themselves.

I'll be amazed if Tuchel leaves, but if he does then it has to be Carsley. England's failure on Wednesday just more evidence that top club coaches don't tend to translate into international success. WC FInal played between succesful Spain youth manager and a promoted assistant

Final final thought…
It’s not that Tuchel is a bad manager - he isn’t. He got England to within a whisker of a World Cup final and he made some good decisions in other games at this tournament.
I don’t think he should be sacked but I do hope, in time, his changes his opinion on having ‘no regrets’. He spoke of ‘bravery’ throughout the tournament and then his team retreated to their own penalty box and gave the best player we may have ever seen space to whip the ball in time and time again.
