🍍 Fermented Pineapple Honey Remedy for Cough & Cold
Ingredients:
•Core of 1 fresh pineapple
•1 cinnamon stick
•6–7 whole cloves
•Raw, unfiltered honey (enough to fully cover)
Instructions:
1.Chop the pineapple core into small pieces and place in a clean glass jar.
2.Add the cinnamon stick and cloves.
3.Pour raw honey over the ingredients until fully covered and level with the top.
4.Loosely cover (not airtight) and let it sit on your kitchen counter for 8–48 hours to naturally ferment.
5.After that, store it in the fridge — it will continue to release juice and ferment slowly.
✅ How to Use:
Take 1 tablespoon (or 1 syringe for kids) every hour as needed to:
•Soothe sore throats
•Calm coughs
•Loosen mucus in the lungs
💡 Why It Works:
•Pineapple core contains bromelain, an enzyme that reduces inflammation, thins mucus, and supports respiratory health.
•Raw honey coats the throat, soothes irritation, and has antibacterial + immune-boosting properties.
•Cinnamon is warming, antiviral, and improves circulation.
•Cloves fight germs, reduce pain, and help clear phlegm.
•Fermentation boosts enzyme activity and nutrient absorption — supporting your gut and immune system.

@NaturalCycles But the option isn't available on the app. Only the gen 2 which requires Bluetooth connection

English

@_LinMarks Hi Linda 👋 It’s still possible to use the app with a basal thermometer! (1)
English

@NaturalCycles I recommended your app to 3 people and they are all having trouble switching to manual thermometer! Why is there not an option in the switch menu that is non Bluetooth? Only choices are Oura, Gen Thermometer, Band and all require bluetooth.

@ChocPrincesse @ALOTdotcom Ughh thank you!! As if people need to go into debt because a self proclaimed "expert" thinks your house should look a certain way. Bye 👋 👋
English

@ALOTdotcom A collection of someone's personal preferences passed off as fact. Wood cabinets are tacky? I LIKE THEM! No cross handle faucets? THEY FIT THE TIME PERIOD OF MY HOUSE! No speckled granite? ARE YOU BUYING A NEW ONE? Unless you are paying for it, keep your preferences to yourself.

@whimsicallyours @stdennard @JoSVolpe This is incredibly helpful. Thank you for taking the time to explain.
English

Gonna recommend a series @stdennard and her agent @JoSVolpe did breaking down sooz's advance AND subrights (which are so important to a writers financial success, too!!) just for an intro.

So, I read this brilliant piece by @HDemetrios, and I want to echo what she says about asking questions. This is your career. If you don't understand your payment structure, you need to ask. You need to understand (upfront) when you're getting paid. medium.com/page-count/how…

@RealJMcDonough @CurmudgeonQueer I also agree with slow cooker tikka masala. Amazing dish. I should mention though, that your house will smell like it for days.

@SWekstein @LombardEmma Just curious what "crossover potential" means.
English

Please stop calling your projects New Adult, I beg you! I wish New Adult took off, but it didn't. And so now, it's not a marketable genre to publishers. If you pitch to me as NA, I will be more likely to reject. Try to stick to Adult or YA with crossover potential. #querytip

A couple motherhood cliches I refuse to give in to: chopping off my long hair or wearing anything with the words "mama bear" on it. #motherhood

@RealJMcDonough I was worried about number of followers as well because of how much this idea is being pushed right now. But I'm also seeing people with a small following getting signed with great agents. Nice to know it isn't true.
