Randburg SDC Outage Update Date: 02 February 2024 Time: 19h18 Bryanston 6.6 kv Substation distributor Elgin tripped on cable fault affecting parts of Bryanston and Vandia Grove, power has been partially restored and the remaining, team will work on restoring the remaining percentage. Northriding 11kv Substation distributor 475 Valley road tripped on cable fault affecting Northriding AH, Business Park and Kyasand. Breaker racked at Substation, team will run the fault. Mini Substation 2253 Spionkop transformer was found faulty, mini substation needs isolation for the team to commence with repairs. Beyers 11kv Substation Gayfield distributor, upon restoration a circuit tripped another distributor on over load. Affected area is Boskruin. Team will restore power supply gradually until the grid has stabilised. Vandalized Transformer in Winston Randpark ridge, affecting Winston dr and Berg road, transformer has been isolated and team is sourcing another transformer. Northriding 11kv Substation distributor 409 olievenhout tripped affecting Northriding AH and Boundary road, team will be attending to this outage after Bryanston outage. Further details will be confirmed in the later updates. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.^LM
