8,000 GitHub stars for InsForge! Backend platforms were designed for human developers. AI native developers build with coding agents. So the backend needs to change too.

Hey Samantha! I’m building spaceshipai.io It’s an agent builder for coding agents. You tell Claude what kind of agentic functionality you need, it picks a framework in our system, and builds it into your app. You don’t have to worry about backend, deployment, or monitoring. It’s all built in for you.

I NEED my feed full of builders. What are you working on right now? I don't care if it's a startup or a weekend side project. If you're building something, I want you on my timeline. Reply and let's connect. 👇

For real. The tech jumps from 1990 to 1995 and 1995 to 2000 were insane. What a time to be a kid playing computer games. Then the handheld revolution in the 2000s was so cool for a 20 something. iPods and flip phones, then blackberries, iPhones, and androids. Tech was new and special. The internet was still a fresh playground.

One thing I miss about the 90s and 2000s and the part of the 2010s is that every 2 years tech just got better. Games looked remarkably better, the systems you would buy would be significantly better. Honestly at this point I can barely tell the difference, performance wise, for the last 5 years.

@ugnead This would be correct if your car was out of gas. Might need to specify your prompt a bit to get a true reading. Also asking it to elaborate beyond a one word answer might help get an idea of how bad, or even if, it’s actually failing.

gpt-5.5 prompt for codex seems to have a duplicated line trying to get it to not talk about creatures? Never talk about goblins, gremlins, raccoons, trolls, ogres, pigeons, or other animals or creatures unless it is absolutely and unambiguously relevant to the user's query. Absolutely. I’ve been doing it professionally for over 15 years. I’ve been tinkering with code for 30 years though. I love problem solving and making things work. Understanding things deeply is a huge part of the process, and I enjoy thinking about things until I understand them. AI coding tools may strip that away for people who weren’t around before they existed though. For me, they help me not only build faster, but learn faster too. Being able to ask questions about anything in the codebase or to bounce architecture ideas around is invaluable. It’s deep learning with jet fuel. So, yeah. I dig it. Now more than ever.

It’s way too early to tell. Things move so quickly, and we’re not even halfway through ‘26. Realistically, it could be none of these companies. Somebody could come out of stealth in the last quarter and dominate all of ‘27. A solo founder could create a coding agent that could gain traction like OpenClawd and Hermes have. The AI landscape is fast. Because of ai coding tools everybody is now a contender. Everybody is a potential competitor. Everybody is dangerous. This is the coolest time to be an entrepreneur.

Feels weird… For the first time in months, no new AI tool dropped claiming it’ll kill IT jobs in past 30 days. Too quiet. Too calm. Like some AI CEO is just sitting there… waiting for the perfect moment to drop trauma v2.2026. (v1 was open claw where is it now?)

Nice! It looks like you have quite a few ai projects. That’s awesome. I’m full time building @SpaceshipAI and part time freelancing as a software dev. With zero free time lol. My project could probably help you spin up ai projects a lot faster. I’m just about to formally launch, but before then I’m looking for some devs building ai projects to test it out. I’d love some feedback if you want to give it a try.

@_MattTrussell_ @justbyte_ A huge range of projects. I'm a team lead Software Dev full time, but since AI kicked off I've been knocking out a bunch of side projects as I go. Recently added a bunch of Open Source projects to my profile: github.com/tjameswilliams HBU?
