Dear Congress all you have to do is be better than BJP. Be better.

I never logged out of my college roommate Aman’s Netflix. After he passed away, I just… couldn’t do it. His profile was still there “Aman’s Watchlist.” Half-finished series. Movies he had saved for later. Every time I opened Netflix, it felt like a small part of him was still around. Sometimes, I’d switch to his profile. Watch what he used to watch. Those late-night hostel sessions… cricket highlights, random web series, and endless debates. It made me feel close to him again. Three years went by like that. Then one day, I got a message. It was his elder brother. He wrote, “I noticed someone’s been using Aman’s profile. The account is in my name now… I was about to delete it, but knowing someone still remembers him… it means a lot. You can keep using it. He would’ve liked that.” I replied immediately. Told him I was Aman’s roommate. Told him about our midnight Maggi scenes, about bunking classes for matches, and how I couldn’t let go of that last connection. His brother replied, “He used to talk about you all the time. Come home sometime… I still have his things.” I went last month. His parents welcomed me like their own. His brother gave me Aman’s favorite Jacket...the one he wore almost every evening. We sat together and finished a series Aman had left halfway. We went silent during the last episode. After that, we stayed in touch. Checking on each other. Somehow, strangers turned into something like family. Last week, his brother said something that stayed with me. “I was going to cancel the subscription,” he said. “Things are a bit tight.” Then he added, “But when I saw someone still using Aman’s profile… I couldn’t do it. It felt like he was still here.” Now, we split the cost. We both use Aman’s profile. We keep his watchlist going. And somewhere between those episodes, those matches and memories… …it feels like he’s still watching with us.

My Nani was seventeen when she got married. Before that, she had a dream she wanted to become a doctor. But in those days, dreams for girls often came with conditions. Her father said, “इतना पढ़कर क्या करेगी? शादी तो करनी ही है।” And just like that, the dream was folded away. She got married into a decent family. Her husband was a forest guard. He provided everything, he respected her. By society’s standards, she was “lucky.” She became what was expected . A perfect bahu, then a mother of four within a few years. Cooking on a chulha, managing the house, stitching clothes, serving everyone before herself. She did everything right. Years later, when I was a child, I found a small box in the storeroom. Inside were old medical books Anatomy, physiology, chemistry. Pages filled with her neat handwritten notes. A different life… quietly preserved. I asked her, “Naani, aap doctor banne wali thi?” She smiled, a little awkward, a little distant. “Woh sab shaadi se pehle ki baat hai.” “Phir chhoda kyun?” She paused. “Us time ladkiyan aisa nahi karti thi. Zimmedariyan thi.” But she had kept those books for over 50 years. Not by accident.. but as a reminder of who she once was. Then one day, my Cousin sister got into medical college. Nani cried for a long time. “Khushi ke aansu hain,” she said. Maybe they were. Or maybe they were years of silence finding a voice. My sister became the doctor my Naani couldn’t be. When she passed away at 90, people spoke about her the way they always had: A devoted wife, a loving mother, a woman who did everything right. But no one mentioned she once wanted to be a doctor.💔 PS : Maybe Some dreams don’t die. They wait. And sometimes, they return.. stronger, louder, in the next generation. #SundayStory #Fictional

A lot of machines can be CNC. Most people think it’s about Machining. I can as easily make a CNC Hydraulic Press or a CNC Plate Bending m/c or a CNC Plate Rolling m/c. CNC is about how you control your machine basically.
Vishakh Ranotra@VishakhRanotra

@Abhindas1 CNC is a broad term. A lot of machines with widely different applications fall under it not just a 3-axis VMC or lathe.

Two years ago, when we built our village home, many relatives suggested that we should cut the neem tree because it was in the middle of our plot. But for us, this tree is more than just a plant. It has seen my grandfather grow from childhood to old age, and it has seen our generation grow too. Many of our ancestors spent their time sitting under this tree, and now we do the same. So we cousins decided that we would keep this tree for as long as it lives and turn this area into a garden instead. Now, in that space, many of our family members (not all, but some) have planted their favorite plants.

We started with just 2 machines 2 years ago. Then added 3 more… and thought we’d stop. But momentum makes its own plans. Another 3 came in a few months ago... and today, we proudly welcome 4 new members to the Topsail family: Millacron: → 2 × 80 Ton → 1 × 100 Ton → 1 × 150 Ton Our injection moulding unit is growing stronger. Each new machine is another step towards IMPORT REPLACEMENT and building big in Bharat. So Grateful for this journey. Bless us for more growth ahead🙏🏾 VISION: VIKSHIT BHARAT🇮🇳❤️

The rooftop solar installation in our society is complete, and power generation has begun. Ours is perhaps the first RWA in Odisha to install large scale solar panels in a housing society. It will generate around 400 kW of electricity. Lower bills, cleaner planet, a win-win!

If I ever get the chance to interview college students,
I’ll never ask questions like Number of Islands or Longest Path in Matrix. Not because they’re bad problems…
But because they’ve become memorized patterns. Most students don’t solve them. They recall them. Instead, I would ask questions that:
• Combine multiple data structures
• Involve dynamic programming in a non-obvious way
• Feel like real-world problem solving Because that’s what actual engineering looks like. And honestly, I don’t like questions that can be mugged up.
I like questions that make you think, struggle, and explore.

@Gs_Wanderer Confidence for a reason. In the last 3 years i have submitted 250+ Capex/Opex/RESCO proposal from 10kW to 3MW projects. And naturally most of them are rooftop projects. We don't do below 10kW for a reason.
