I haven't been here in a while, but this is really important to me. Please give what you can to help this family. This is a hand up to people who are really putting in the effort. gofund.me/45b545ca

@halvorson It's perfect. Management decrees it. And everyone implements. What's the big whup?

In 1987 the "Fairness Doctrine" was ended. I was working in a small, midwestern newsroom. The surly, aloof news director said, to no one in particular, "This is going to fundamentally change our country. Not for the better." Look at us now. #Journalism #America #Truth #Freedom

@INDOTNortheast Boy, people hate change. The "more to discover" is small, doesn't do much anyway. Content wise, in what way is Benjamin Harrison relevant? How about promoting the Speedway & racing? Breaded tenderloins? Agri-tourism? Our state's AMAZING zoo's? Indiana Dunes to Clifty Falls?

@indygrl From in.gov: The corn & soybeans grown in the state are also made into biofuels & fiber materials such as ethanol and carpet. What Indiana grows does not all stay in the state. More than $4.6 billion of Indiana's ag products are exported throughout the world.

Coming to (or perhaps has already arrived) at a state legislature near you. This is a pretty pathetic exchange.

@karenmcgrane @sara_ann_marie Is 4 years too late to comment? I've been busy... I learned to write for video. The discipline is write-write-write then read-read-read aloud with inflection and emotion. If it rolls off the tongue, if it sounds good to your ear, you're probably very close.

@sara_ann_marie If you're on a Mac, you can use text-to-speech to have the computer read what you've written. You can download different voices, I prefer the Australian guy. Listening to what you've written is a good way to revise things

The works of @billyjoel are among America's greatest national treasures. Soaring and epic. Small and so personal. Simply brilliant.

Who is the greatest guitarist? Prince should be on the list. Agree? That is a subjective question and cannot be answered definitively. Many great guitarists have existed throughout history, some of the most popular being Jimi Hendrix, Clapton, Stevie Ray, and Eddie Van Halen.
