@ThatsSoVillage Number 4 came out in a Harry Potter t-shirt. Hit 40* and won the game.

@flintoff11 My son loves cricket, but suffers from anxiety, misophonia and is likely nuerodiverse. Apart from sport, yours is the *only* TV programme he can watch with other people. It is so powerful for him to see people a lot like him talking about their experiences. Thank you.

@AlexHartley93 Hi Alex - I'm not verfied, so can't DM you, but have a beaut of an example of the barriers that female cricketers still face. Can you follow me so that I can share?
English

@thatmarkgilroy It won't surprise anyone to hear they get treated better than their staff. MPs get about 4 months' salary + a separate payment to wind up other business. Their staff are simpy made redundant.
English

@ThatsSoVillage I can cope with dropping my one chance in the field. I can cope with top-edging my first ball to mid-on. Can't cope with the scorer giving my 2 tidy overs to someone else.

@iancurwen @totalcurtis If I've only got time for one I'd probably make it the Briton's Protection.
English

If I only had time to visit one Manchester pub before a trip to Cloudwater then the James gig, where would you recommend @totalcurtis? In Peveril now.

As opposed to the current common-sense system of shopkeepers having to assess if someone is 17 or 18.
Simon Clarke@SirSimonClarke
I also fear the proposed law will create an enforcement nightmare, with shopkeepers having to assess whether someone is 18, or 19, for years to come. We already struggle to enforce the war on drugs. The last thing we should do is create a whole new black market. (2/2)

@Davethewave @jamesswift You can't become an employer of choice by telling people you are, you have to prove you are.
The ultimate Employer Branding campaign is to promote your positives, while acknowledging and improving the negatives that you can change.
English

@jamesswift Fair point, I suppose the answer is in the objective in the first place.
Lets start with - the objective is to become the 'Employer of choice' ...
My query is, what long term difference do most employer branding campaigns make?
English

@sharonodea It doesn't seem to harm tourism to the US too much... but I guess people don't travel to the US in the same way.

Enjoyed that #SPOTY2023 turned into one protracted dig at Phil Neville.

I makes loads of sense, but snooker in short sleeves feels wrong.
I ❤️ Snooker@ILoveSnooker_

I like how pics 5 and 12 are the same, in case they needed to remind you.

@JonnyGoodacre @ZaltzCricket @ThriplowCC ... thinking up something encouraging, but essentially meaningless to say... whiles away the hours!
English
@ZaltzCricket Well the team I occasionally play for @ThriplowCC (3rd team) always seems to elect to field, meaning hours of crawling around in a hedge looking for the ball, pointless clapping, hoping an easy catch doesn't come my way and wondering what's for tea. I love it!

@jezpetty Cricket World Cup is scheduled to finish mid 2025, I think
English

@StuartMaconie There's an Alan Bradley undertakers in Clayton. Ominously, the tram runs right in front.
English

@cm_charu @AliveWithIdeas Share them with people, and ideally people you don't always share ideas with (or people just likley to agree!)
English

@AliveWithIdeas How would you suggest successfully doing the test your assumptions ‘ one.
English

*** Your challenge for this week ***
Make better decisions. Use the WRAP approach
1. Widen your options
2. Reality test your assumptions
3. Attain distance before deciding
4. Prepare to be wrong by planning for bad outcomes
