Reminder. On January 8, Lyn Alden said "the Bitcoin ETF is the most boring thing about Bitcoin right now". On Jan 20, she titled her talk "Why The Bitcoin ETF May Be Overblown". I like Lyn, but she was completely wrong about this ETF. 100% wrong. As were most Bitcoin maxis. It doesn't matter to me. I am up an ungodly amount of money since then. But as Woody Allen said: "Those who can't do, teach". And those who can't teach, teach gym.

People who are born in 50 years will still benefit from a sound monetary system even without having access to this growth period. People living today genuinely do care about future generations.

The divergence between @LynAldenContact opinion and yours is summed up in your statement: “I’’m up an ungodly amount of money” Not to put words in her mouth but there are way more interesting thingss going on around bitcoin than NGU, and most Bitcoiners building and investing around the ecosystem are in it for much bigger reasons than the $$, We are developing a tool and system to secure property rights for billions, to separate money and state, and shift the balance of power. NGU is nice but it’s definitely NOT the most important or interesting thing.

We could just say a car that breaks down all the time versus one that never breaks down.

Dollars and bitcoin are the same tool, one is just significantly better. We just want to use the better tool and discard the one that doesn't work as well.

@sebbunney @PrestonPysh I 100% agree. Studying bitcoin and the monetary system has been the most valuable learning experience in my life and has given me hope that we have a new tool to help establish homeostasis as a global community.
