@JLCes @HumansNoContext Look, I’m normally one to defend us men from feminists, but that dude was very clearly the bad guy in that situation. If you didn’t pick that up from watching it, you are the problem. You just engagement farming with a stupid take on the situation?

Labor Minister Chris Bowen continues to kick goals. The fuel shortage continues to improve, with less stations out of diesel. Turns out working hard over the long weekend pays dividends. Imagine lazy Angus Taylor doing this! He'd still be in Bali 😂 with his 🤡 mate Scummo 🤡

Politicians will get increased protection at home, in their electorate offices and at high-risk public events under a $150 million proposal to shield public figures from what analysts say is the most dangerous security environment in generations. smh.com.au/politics/feder…

Gosh. There’s some stupid people out there judging by comments. ON doesn’t have a single policy that will assist young people with affordable homes. Hanson preaches hate… That’s not a policy

If the Australian government had implemented a 25% gas export tax in July 2022, it would have raised over $68 billion! That's $68 billion that could have been spent on essential services for Australians. "Australians want their fair share." - Hon Andrew Gee MP #auspol

This is huge. A dent in cost-of-living chasm facing young people. Cheap youth labour has been a legal business model in Aus since 1930s. 18-20yr-olds will now be recognised as adults in our IR system! #auspol abc.net.au/news/2026-03-3…

BREAKING: Australians will no longer pay $1.6bn in card surcharges from October 1. People shouldn’t be punished for using a credit or debit card. That's why the Reserve Bank will today take steps to end credit and debit card surcharging from October 1. This change will make a meaningful difference with Australians no longer paying $1.6 bn a year in surcharges, and small businesses will save $910m.

No one is going to invest capital in a technology that is rapidly approaching its use by date. This is like 1926 when there were still horses & buggies on the road blacksmiths and livery stables. By 1936, they had almost all gone. Anyone buying smithys back then did their dough.
PaulieC@pauliec80859931

Today, I read that Australia has 17 billion barrels of recoverable oil. It would make us self sufficient in oil for 42 years & yet we refuse to produce it. We are totally fixated with net zero and have lost sight of the big picture. For the record, if we were serious about "net zero" nuclear would be on the table. Sadly, we're a resource rich, dumb country.

JUST IN - Trump says if deal is not reached with Iran and Hormuz Strait opened, U.S. "will conclude our lovely 'stay' in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island (and possibly all desalinization plants!)."
