There are rumors that this has to do with a locker room conflict. If so, I will apologize and take this all back. However, this is, to this point, just rumors. Rangers Twitter seems to all be in agreement that this was not a hockey decision and was, instead, fueled by politics.

Story will get much less national attention than @Kaepernick7 so had to share. Tony DeAngelo (who is now off Twitter) has been cut by the @NYRangers. This was, objectively, not a hockey decision. He did struggle defensively, but his larger problem was being a Trump supporter

The economy now, for example, is also crap. If Biden stablilizes it again, it will be massive growth, only Bc it was so low.
