The Chiefs hit big on Jaylen Watson in the 7th, L’Jarius Sneed in the 4th and undrafted Charvarius Ward via lowball trade. Now 3rd rounder Nohl Williams looks like their next stud CB. Even Joshua Williams was a solid hit. There’s no reason to pivot away from what’s working and draft corners early — unless somebody slides and the value is so insane they simply cannot pass.

@priceacarter No arguments here! And their reasoning for CLE moving back is 6 is rich for Freeling but you might feel better taking him at 9.. just a matter of if CLE wants to take WR at 6 and risk not getting a LT early

If the Chiefs wanted to put out smoke that they are taking an OT, then that smoke would get pushed to plugged in draft analysts.
And if the Chiefs can convince one team to move up in front of them to take an OT, that could be the one pick that gets them Bain/Bailey/Lemon/Downs.

Well, he actually tries to report things before they happen! Crazy concept where we hear rumors and possibilities before everything is done. Won't always work out! Does a lot though! Better than insiders being glorified dov's out there and giving you the "this was always the most likely outcome" charade after pen has already been put to paper/the agent tells them now it's okay to report.

I said it when the Chiefs extended Nik Bolton that they will one day regret this if it means they lose Leo Chenal.
We'll see how that plays out but I'm excited to see if Chenal can reach that Demario Davis comp I had on him coming out.
