@bellaandmilo @domdyer70 @spartacus303 Same happened to us a month ago. He was chipped, but scanning him was too much effort, and my husband was searching council roadkill bins for 2 weeks at the depot until he found him. Such an undignified end for such a beautiful boy 😔 They dont care.

Laura Taylor was horrified and distraught when her cat was hit and killed by a driver two weeks ago. Neighbours managed to move her pet's body, which had been left on the road, and the 32-year-old from Lakenheath, Suffolk, only found out what had happened through Facebook. Under current law, drivers are not required to stop after hitting a cat, unlike dogs, and the Department for Transport (DfT) said there were "no current plans" to change this. Cat owners are petitioning for change, arguing their pets deserve the same recognition as dogs.

My name is Chris and I’m an alcoholic. Today marks 37 days sober from alcohol. I’m thankful today for these four kids, they mean the world to me. Before I was sober, I would buy fireball shots and hide them through out the house so that when I got off of work, I’d be able to drink no matter what. Sometimes I’d take 1-2 shots in the morning just to coup with reality. Since I’ve gotten sober, I take it one day at a time and appreciate everything that I’ve been missing out on. I love watching my kids grow and they don’t need to see their dad as a dead beat dad. What are you thankful for? Thanks for reading.

@TallGlenn85 @MrMBB333 No, didnt happen. Must put down the crack pipe next time.... If it was a plane, makes no difference to me whatsoever. But the helicopters they sent out didnt find any wreckage or bodies. And this thing exploded.

@TallGlenn85 @MrMBB333 It was seen landing in a field below us. Helicopters/search teams were deployed. It was not a plane or light aircraft, confirmed. Local MeteorologicalSociety investigating. Here is a plane,same location,5minutes before. What's in the first pic is not that,and was much closer.

@dom_lucre x.com/i/status/20372… Similar in the UK over the weekend. Ive seen hundreds of sunsets at this particular spot. I know the tricks the light can play with contrails. This was no plane. Local authorities concluded either a drone was "shot down" or that it was a meteor.

🔥🚨BREAKING: 3 fireballs were just spotted in the skies of Austin Texas, conservative commentator Owen Shoryer who lives and witnesses it says he doesn’t believe these are meteors and that they weren’t initially on fire when they appeared in the sky near two planes.

@coralk_ And definitely not a plane!! Confirmed by police with flight data. So close and low they sent out search crews around where it appeared to land.

@coralk_ OMG! This that I saw Friday did the same! Started to drop and then just stayed in position. Then started dropping again. Did that twice.
