Bryan Hodgson was a foster kid from the Buffalo, NY area His dad suffers from Dementia. Since he’s been a head coach his father has never been able to watch his teams in person. Thursday, Hodgson’s dad will be attendance for his first NCAA Tournament game What. A. Story

@ISMC79 I’m not mad at it. As a scorer I can see it. navigating p&r I think Acuff is far more advanced. Even as a lob thrower. Plays p&r like Dennis Schroeder. Throws lobs like Marbury in Minnesota.

@__CoachRob Check the film. Jay was ACC freshman of the year and nominated for player of the year. Could have left but chose to come back for a 2nd year and won a national championship and named national player of the year. PG1. Played PG majority of the time, played off sometimes

Coach I think a more accurate comparison is Jay Williams. Jay was the #2 pick in his draft.

Acuff / Marbury comparison is a sign of reverence for Marbury. And most accurate if you can look past how high Steph jumped on his jump shot and him catching 3-4 dunks a season. Look at Marbury’s college film. Acuff could be better. One of the best point guards to ever play college basketball not just a freshman.

No it’s a sign of reverence for Marbury even as a pro. 2x all star and 2x all NBA. Acuff can play 15 years in the league. who knows what his career will become. But in college he’s already done it and is one of the best point guards in the last 25 years. So to compare to a 2x all star is a tremendous sign of respect toward Marbury. I seen dudes getting compared to Kobe this season year lol. I’m not saying Acuff is better. But I’m also not saying he won’t be better. But he’s on track to Have his accolades measure up and he’s already at least matched it in college and he’s not finished.
