It's been a while so here's some updates about this project: -The one you see here is just a quick proof of concept made from my old 3D printer parts. -Production machine needs to be reliable and fully automated. Full automation means you can give it a stack of books, it'll give you a stack of written books. 1 machine can serve almost 500 students -I’m currently prototyping two separate machines: one for A4 paper and one for books. Integrating both into a single, fully automated machine is extremely challenging. -Full automation with reliability while DFA, DFM and lean design is challenging, so it's taking time. I obviously can't share details because it will be patented. -Got our startup registered, the lab for R&D and small scale manufacturing will need to be constructed.

I wish fashion brands would categorise their clothes at their offline store on the basis of the materials used. Separate sections for: 1. Natural fabrics 2. Blended 3. Fully synthetic Such a tedious task of reading each label inside the garments.

This is fair TBH. Prusa was reliable but they were asleep at the wheel. It was obvious to me that CoreXY is the future in 2017. That’s why my first homemade 3D printer was a CoreXY with a carbon fibre X gantry (just like the Bambu X1C but built with scrap lol). Bambu forced Prusa to make the Core 1. Prusa MK4 reliability + speed + automated calibration gets you the UX of Bambu

Hot take. Prusa had years to make a Bambu quality user experience and couldn’t do it. 🤷‍♂️ Now all they do is cry about everything not being fair. Make a better printer.

Vishai Pai never made a printer in the USA, every single part was made in China. He never tried to make it here in the USA, but instead just sent all of the IP to China. Of course he lives in LA, the most expensive place in America to manufacture anything. Him & others like him are responsible for the Chinese dominated 3D printer market, so what are you coming back to?? Would Prusa be a European 3D Printer company if every single part was made in China? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Bambu Labs whether anybody wants to be honest beats every other 3D printer on the market in quality & price.

This is what I keep coming back to. So many companies in the US and Europe, driven out of the printer business over the last few years. Each one was its own thing, there was a place for everyone, and we were all friends sharing innovations across the industry. Now everything is just a copy of a copy of a copy 📉 I'd do anything I can to make that possible again. I miss a lot of my friends from this business.

Hermes Agent vs OpenClaw using Qwen 35B Local Model We asked agents to scrape GitHub star history for both tools, find what caused the growth spikes, build a live dashboard in the browser. MacBook Pro M5 Max 64Gb OpenClaw: 203k tokens, 12m 01s - wrote a bash script Hermes: 257k tokens, 33m 01s - wrote a SKILL.md OpenClaw hit GitHub API, got truncated responses, paginated through contributors, pulled star-history JSON, found a security incident in OpenClaw's history, fetched SVGs, fixed broken HTML from trimming, rewrote it clean. Hermes parallel tool calls across GitHub API, web search, and browser. Hit Google rate limit, auto-switched to DuckDuckGo. Fetched article contents, mapped viral moments, then built the dashboard. Both shipped a live dashboard with star growth charts and spike annotations
